The Royal Wedding

We the undersigned congratulate His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales and Ms Catherine Middleton on their forthcoming marriage.

We must remember that at the heart of the pomp and ceremony the focus of the people of the United Kingdom and around the world, will be two young people, who have chosen to live their lives together, and two families that will be united through this marriage. To them, this nation’s future King and Queen, we offer our good wishes and pray that God will look in favour on William and Catherine and all who are made one in marriage. Through God’s love, may their love deepen and their wills strengthen, to keep the promises they will make, that they may continue in life-long faithfulness to each other.

In a time when marriage is in decline, it’s heartening to see this tradition kept alive by Prince William and Catherine Middleton. Marriage is a blessing.

We deplore any attempts from any quarter to disrupt the wedding or to hold demonstrations against it. This is a joyous occasion for the British people from all backgrounds and we stand IN SOLIDARITY!

We hope and pray that the wedding will proceed without interruption.
