HAPPY NEW YEAR HAPPY CHRISTMAS-imitating prohibited“Whoever imitates the kuffar is one of them ”
General proof on prohibiting celebrating the holidays of the Infidels:
A) Celebrating the holidays of the infidels is an innovation. These celebrations are not from within Islam, nor are they
conduct of the salaf [6](sahabah). Therefore anything not
established in Islam should not be followed, as this will lead
to punishments, especially in area of [7]ebaddah.
Celebrating the holidays of the infidels is an imitation of
the kuffar. The prophet [9] (sallah Allahu alayhi Wasalam) in a
plenty of ahadith prohibited imitating the infidels, he said
“Whomever imitates the kuffar is one of them ”.
Umar Ibn Alkhatab (radia Allahu Anh) banned them from “looking” at the
festivals of the infidels. What would he have done if he saw
Muslims decorating their homes for Christmas, eating Turkey on
Thanksgiving day, putting out pumpkins for Halloween,
exchanging gifts and greetings on Mothers day, Fathers day,
and so on?
Umar (Radia Allahu Anh) said [55]”Beware of the languages of
the non-Arabs, and beware not to enter on the Mushrikeen on
their holidays in their places of worship.”
May we be
of those who accept Allah and his messenger (sallah Allahu
alayhi Wasalam)’s commands totally, happily and willingly and
not be like the hypocrites whom Allah humiliated in the Koran,
[72]”When it is said to them come to what Allah hath revealed
and to the messenger thou seest the hypocrites avert their
faces from thee in disgust.”
Wishing someone “Merry Christmas” is not kufr, nor does it necessarily lead to kufr… What is the way of kufr? Is it not lying, being dishonest, being stingy, being extremist? Surely the hadith refers to those who take on such bad characteristics… Not the noble and beautiful characteristics of fellow believers in Allah from among the Ahl Al Kitab (People of the Book, such as Jews and Christians). The Ahl Al Kitab and Muslims share many things in common such as faith, praying, charity, fasting and even performing pilgrimages. Should us Muslims stop these practices ourselves then, so as not to imitate Jews and Christians? This line of logic and reasoning leads to some rather absurd conclusions! Even long shirts like thobes, as well as hijabs and veils, were once the popular dress of many Jews and Christians and are still worn by them in some places even today. One may see clearly from the study of history, Muslims adopted these forms of dress from Jews and Christians. So, what then should we wear if we’re not to imitate other peoples?
The hadith to which you’re referring, is clearly meant in the context of not imitating the characteristics of bad people. Nothing else is forbidden to us Muslims, other than that and what is clearly stated as being haraam in the Holy Qur’an. Islam is fairly flexible, not this straightjacket type construct that many seem to think today. One does no service to Islam or Muslims, by further promoting such crazy ideas!
Note: Mushrikeen are idolaters, from the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him, who were really bad people! Nothing at all like Jews or Christians… But who is worse, is it not the munafiqeen “hypocrites”, as indeed the Qur’an states? This primarily refers to people who outwardly make a big show of being Muslim, but inside are virtually the complete opposite of what they appear to be. Such people are often very conflicted, and hence inflict this inner conflict on those all around them, instead of admitting to this and tackling it in a more constructive manner. That is not a healthy state to be in, either for one’s life here or in the next realm of existence after we leave this life…
Ali you disgusting Nazi fascist slime. Your time is over. I’m from the Black-Eyed Girls and we’re going to light up Wahaabi Neanderthal throwbacks like you- it’s over baby, emigrate now!

WHEN THE CHRISTIANS THEMSELVES DIDNT FOLLOW THIS STRANGE THIS PAGAN CUSTOM FOR 1ST 3 CENTURIES -http://christmasxmas.xanga.com/684910421/item/ http://escapefromwatchtower.com/pagan.html

Where is the question of wishing a person following a pagan custom [http://www.strictlybiblical.org/Doctrine%20Teachings/Information/Emperor%20Constantine2.htm
which is not the teachings of Abraham and and his linage the the true prophets-
In simple clear words it is plainly shown that one who who worships and idol whether it is in the form of Jesus Mary or Rama or Krishna-he is an idolator -IT IS REFERING THE TRINITARIN CHRISTIANS NOT THE UNITARIAN CHRISTIANS[BEFORE THE ESTABLISHING OF TRINITY BY THE EMPEROR] WHO ACCEPTED JESUS AS PROPHET AND NOT THE SON OF GOD-
And this we cannot say by defying the Hadees and Quran-[Wishing someone “Merry Christmas” is not kufr, nor does it necessarily lead to kufr][THIS IS OUR WHIMS AND FANCIES]FOR THAT ONLY PROPHET SALALAHU ALAI HI WASLALAM WARNED-
The Prophet(SAW) said:
“I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah.” [Reported by Al- Haakim – Sahih].
We are having strong reference that the idolators the trintitarians are celebrating the Christmas the birth day of sungod and which was not the birthday of Jesus peace be up on him]
WISHING FOR THAT WHICH IS THE PRACTICE OF PHAROAH IS SIN EVEN THE CHRISTIANS WILL BE QUESTION ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT FOR DOING SUCH A THING WHICH WAS PHAROAH’S BIRTHDAYAND NOT JESUS’S.

A major turning point in Christian history occurred AFTER THE CIVIL WAR the Roman Emperor Constantine converted to Christianity. The result was the end of persecution of 10 LAKH UNITARIAN-Christians [IMAGINE OUR INNOCENT CHRISTIANS LYING SLAIN EVERY WHERE and the beginning of Christendom called pauline christianity.the concept of trinty which defy’s the God of abraham all the prophets and jesus himself.
At this time, the question of the divinity of Jesus had split the church into two factions. Constantine offered to make the little-know. Christian sect the official state religion if the Christians would settle their differences. Apparently, he didn’t particularly care what they believed in as long as they agreed upon a belief. By compiling a book of sacred writings, Constantine thought that the book would give authority to the new church.
The newly-converted Emperor Constantine had hoped Christianity would be the uniting force of his empire. He was thus distressed to hear of the dispute over Arianism, which held that Christ was greater than man but inferior to God. In 325, Constantine called the Council of Nicea with full confidence that the bishops could work out their differences.
The gathering must have been a moving sight to behold. After centuries of persecution, Christian bishops from across the Empire journeyed to Nicea under state protection to discuss theological problems with the help of the Emperor. Official persecution had been so recent that many of the bishops still bore its scars; CONSTANTINE HIMSELF IS SAID TO HAVE KISSED THE EYELESS CHEEK OF THE BISHOP WHO WAS AN ATTENDEE ONE OF THE FORCED TO ATTENDEE AND SIGN THE TRINITY DOCUMENT-
Eid al Mawlid as Sayyidina Isa Mubarak! ;)x
Dear abbasi assalaamalaikum
If you want to defy hadees you can but remember –
‘God does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned’ (Surah al-Baqarah 2:286)
39:7 (Asad) If you are ingrate [11] behold, God has no need of you; none the less, He does not approve of ingratitude in His servants: whereas, if you show gratitude, He approves it in you. And no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another’s burden. [12] In time, unto your Sustainer you all must return, and then He will make you [truly] understand all that you were doing [in life]: for, verily, He has full knowledge of what is in the hearts [of men].
‘And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to God is the [final] destination’ (Surah Fatir 35:18)
Bah, humbug!
THANKS A LOT FOR YR COMMENT MAY GOD BLESS YOU IN YOUR WHIMS AND FANCIES-‘BUT ISLAM IS INDEPENDANT OF THE CLAIMS YOU MAKE THAT WISHING IS NOT WRONG-
